Don't attach a red dot finder to the hinged rings of your Stellarvue telescope with sticky tape! Do it with a genuine Stellarvue Red Dot Finder attachment base! Made specifically for the Stellarvue F1001 Red Dot finder, this base fits most hinged rings (they must have a 6 mm or 1/4-20 threaded center hole). 

The F1001EF base will not fit the Stellarvue F2 Red Dot Finder.
