This off-axis filter has a 114mm/4.5” clear aperture Type 2+ glass filter element. The filter is mounted on a white fiberboard insert in an aluminum cell that has a 349mm/13.75” internal diameter to fit scopes with a maximum diameter of 347.7mm (13-11/16”).
It fits all versions of the Meade 12” LX200 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.
You can custom fit it to scopes with an O.D. of 343mm (13-1/2”) to 347.7mm (13-11/16”) by using the extra supplied self-adhesive felt.
Always remember to install the solar filter before pointing your telescope at the Sun to avoid instant and irreversible damage to your eyesight.
